The well-known Lobster Lady Seafood Bistro is a fish market and bistro in one. You can buy fresh fish there or eat there, or both.

If you like to cook for yourself, you can shop at the Cape Corel Farmers Market every Saturday morning. A little more expensive than in the supermarkets, but everything is fresh and of good quality.

The location of our vacation homes in Cape Coral is quiet and away from busy main roads. Nevertheless, you can reach large shopping centers, shopping arcades and supermarkets from all of our accommodations in just a few minutes by car. If you don't want to cater for yourself, there is plenty of choice of restaurants serving local and international dishes.

Weather and beaches

Cape Coral in the Sunshine State of Florida is famous for its great weather, palm trees and citrus trees.

One of the most popular beaches in Cape Coral is the Yacht Club Beach, on the Caloosahatchee River. You can reach the beach in about 10 minutes by car. There are a few nice bars and restaurants there, as well as an almost 200 m long fishing pier into the sea.

Even you can go to Lovers Key Beach or Fort Meyers Beach. Both beaches can be reached quickly and easily by car from our vacation homes. The offshore islands of Sanibel, Captiva and Pine Island are also known for their miles of white sandy beaches.

Cape Coral a modern city

Cape Coral is located in the southwest of Florida directly on the Gulf of Mexico. The city was founded in the 1950s and is rightly known as the Venice of America. It is criss-crossed by over 650 km of artificial canals. Many of the water canals in Cape Coral have access to the Gulf of Mexico.

Cape Corel is a modern town with many luxurious villas with spacious outdoor areas, swimming pools and often their own jetty. The location of our vacation villas in Cape Coral is quiet and away from busy main roads.

Fort Meyers next to Cape Corel

The coastal town of Fort Myers is known for its famous avenues of palm trees and the beautifully restored turn-of-the-century business district. On Mac Gregor Boulevard in Fort Myers, you can visit the winter home of American inventor Edison, fully furnished as it was during his lifetime, complete with laboratory and botanical garden.

Spectacular water, light and music shows (indoor and outdoor) attract visitors to Waltzing Waters, south of Fort Myers. Homosassa Springs Nature World, near the Gulf of Mexico, offers visitors the opportunity to see 10,000 fish and marine mammals up close below sea level.
